The hospital is receiving 1,800 outpatients on daily basis. There are altogether 17 clinical departments (including Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Department of Orthodontics, Department of Prosthodontics, Department of Endodontics, Department of Periodontics & Oral Medicine, Pediatric Dentistry, Department of VIP Oral Service, Department of Preventive Dentistry, Department of General Dentistry, Dental Emergency, VIP Medical Treatment Center, Department of Geriatric Dentistry, etc.) and 6 technical departments (namely Pharmacy, Radiology, Department of Laboratory Test, Department of Oral Pathology, Dental Laboratory and Department of Medical Equipment). To lay special emphasis on the specialty of this hospital and give its forte to full play, we have also established advanced clinical centers, like Oral and Maxillofacial Consultation Center, Center for Salivary Disease, Consultation Center of Orthodontics and Oral Implantation Center, to examine and treat those difficult and complicated oral cases.
The hospital has imported 277 sophisticated dental units and many other medical facilities from Germany, Japan, Finland and some other countries to meet various needs. There are also 80 beds in our wards for surgery purposes.
We keep to the belief of “quality service, technique innovation”. It is our sincere promise and unremitting pursuit for generations to make each and every patient satisfied with our medical service. We have been reforming and improving our manner and procedure of service by aiming high. We have reformed the way of registration from all patients registering in the main hall to registering at individual departments. Thus there is much less crowding and patients no long need to wait in long queues. We have also changed our fixed time clinical service to all time service, so that patients can have our service at any moment. We strictly practice antisepsis and quarantine to rule out nosocodial cross infection and guarantee treatment security. Furthermore, all consulting rooms have been air-conditioned to give patient a cool and comfortable environment in summer heat. There is also an information desk on the ground floor to deal with the inquiries from patients; the latest information is broadcast on the rolling electronic screen in the clinical building. A clinical-related office is also set up to timely answer the questions raised by patients. All departments have developed their quality control standards and feedback system for quality medical treatment.
